Planets Retrograde in November 2005
Mercury is retrograde. Mars is retrograde. And, on Nov. 22, Saturn goes retrograde, adding cement to the mix. Mercury tests our communication. Mars tests our actions. Saturn will test our boundaries and direction. The universe is asking you to do a major review of your life right now.
Saturn has traveled to 11 degrees of Leo since he entered that sign in July. Anyone who has a planet in 1 to 11 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, or Taurus has felt his strict gaze. Now that he is going retrograde, he is giving you a second chance to get it right. He will be in backward motion until April 6 and goes direct at 4 degrees of Leo.
Leos are serious now. Saturn has put the lion in a cage. The first baby boomers born in 1946-1947 have Saturn in Leo. Note all the publicity about them turning 60 and growing old (Saturn symbolism).
The four signs mentioned above are known as fixed signs: stubborn, hard to move, opinionated, very strong. Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune are now in fixed signs exerting pressure from all sides. No one wants to back down. That is one explanation of why life seems so tense. It's hard to win your battles now.
